How I Got $90 Worth of Stuff at CVS For Free

by H2 on August 15, 2010

This was my biggest couponing accomplishment to date. I just returned from CVS with $90 worth of items and only paid $2.13, all of which was tax. I had a goal of getting 100 bottles of Sobe for free by the end of year, well today I already accomplished that. I had enough coupons to purchase 20 more Sobe for free, but chose not to on this trip so there were enough for others. I plan to go back to a different store this week and by continuing to the play the Sobe Heads or Tails game, should be able to purchase an additional 50 more for free.

How did I do it? I purchased:

(30) Sobe drinks, $1.59/each
B1G1 free sale
Used (15) B1G1 coupons from playing the Sobe Heads or Tails game daily

(1) Purex 3-in-1 laundry detergent, $5.99
On sale for $6, get $2 ECB with purchase
Used $3 off coupon from the 8/15 Red Plum

(1) Swiffer Wet Jet, $3.99

(1) Blink eye drops, $7.99
Recieve $7.99 ECB with purchase
Used $1.50 printable coupon

(4) Right Guard deodorant, $4.49/each
B1G1 free sale
Used (2) B1G1 free coupons for 7/25 Red Plum

Also used:

$4 off when you spend $20 CVS coupon received via email
Used $10 in ECB’s from previous trips

Paid $2.13 in tax

Then received $10 in ECB’s back, so technically I paid nothing and made $10!
