Right before Easter, I was in Pottery Barn and saw this arrangement. I loved it and quickly realized, I could probably pull that off myself for much, much cheaper than the $226.50 price tag attached to it.
So, I went home and got to work, recreating this look for just $27.80!
- I found a similar vase at Target, that was around $10, but I had a gift card so it was free to me! You can easily find this same shaped vase at Michaels or Hobby Lobby (Make sure you have a 40% or 50% coupon for a great deal.)
- I purchased the flower stems at Michaels when they were 50% off. I bought 8 of them for $2.00/each. I didn’t buy nearly enough, so I waited until they went on sale again, which this time they were 60% off and I got 7 more for $1.60/each.
- The green grass appearing stuff I got also got at Michael’s and used a 50% off coupon on it, so I paid $2.00 for it.
This is a super easy project. Just three items involved and it took less than 15 minutes to create!
The stems were too long, so I cut them in varying heights. After I had arranged about three-quarters of them I added in the grass. I was concerned how that was going to go, but actually found it very easy to just slide chucks of it between stems and then push it apart.
In order to get the right look, you have to bend the branches, making them go in different directions, especially straight out in to get the same shape as the arrangement I saw in the store.
I just love the finished product! I’ve found about five places around my house this would look great, but for now I use it as a center piece on my dining room table.
If you like Pottery Barn then you’ll love to see how I got my dining room table, buffet and wine bar from Pottery Barn for 50% off!

I love this! I actually made it for our front entryway following your directions last week. I went into PB a few days ago and saw a very similar one with a much larger price tag… Thanks!
Found you on Knock Off Decor. Great job of creating the same look!
That looks terrific! I too am a big fan of those gorgeous floral displays at PB. It’s great to see that it can be done much cheaper! Good job!
